The Eklavya Model Residential School (EMRS) Society in Assam is recruiting qualified individuals to join as Guest Teachers and Hostel Wardens across five of its campuses. These are contractual positions for the academic session 2025-26 or until regular appointments are made—whichever comes first.

1. Guest Teachers – 19 Posts
Locations – Kharadhara, Howraghat, Jalah, Ardaopur, Jonai
Subject-wise Vacancies –
- English – 3
- Mathematics – 5
- Science – 3
- Social Science – 3
- Hindi – 5
Eligibility –
- A Bachelor’s Degree with at least 50% marks in the relevant subject(s) and overall.
- A B.Ed degree from an NCTE-recognized university or autonomous institution.
- Must be proficient in teaching in English.
Compensation –
- ₹300 per lecture.
- Retired teachers will be compensated either monthly (as per their last pay and pension) or on a per-lecture basis, depending on their previous employment (government or private).
2. Hostel Warden (Boys) – 5 Posts
Locations – Same as above
Eligibility –
- Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a teaching or administrative role in hostels or government-recognized schools.
Compensation –
- ₹1,200 per working day.
- Maximum monthly pay is capped at ₹36,000.
- No payment during vacations or school breaks longer than 15 days.
Age Criteria –
- Minimum age: 21 years
- Maximum age: 60 years as of 1st June 2025
- Retired teachers can also apply (up to 65 years)
