The Department of Economics at Assam University, Silchar, is inviting employments for two short-term research positions as part of a project funded by the Indian Council of Social Science Research( ICSSR). The project, titled “A Study on the Socio-Economic Impacts of the PM Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana in Southern Assam with Special Reference to Health,” will run for a period of twelve months.
Available Posts –
1.Project Associate
Number of post – 1
Duration – 12 months
Eligibility Criteria –
- Ph.D. or M.Phil. in Economics
- And NET/SET in Economics
- Prior project experience is desirable
2.Field Investigator
Number of post – 1
Duration – 3 months
Eligibility Criteria –
- M.A./M.Sc. in Economics with minimum 55% marks
- Master’s in Economics from a UGC-recognized university
- Proficiency or essential knowledge in field survey/ data collection is desirable
- Age Limit – Not more then 35 years of age.
