Eligibility Criteria –
Educational Qualification –
Degree (Science or Engineering) in any one of the following disciplines:
- Agriculture, Botany, Chemistry, Environmental Science, Forestry, Geology, Horticulture, Mathematics, Physics, Statistics, Veterinary Science, Zoology
- Computer Applications/Science
- Engineering: Agricultural, Chemical, Civil, Computer, Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical
Age Limit (as on 01-01-2025) –
- Minimum – 21 years
- Maximum – 38 years
- Age Relaxation – As per govt norms.
Physical Standards –

- Must be physically fit for outdoor duties.

Selection Process –
- Written Exam – 4 papers (Total: 500 marks)
- Includes two optional subjects (from the list above)
- Physical Test – Walking Test
- Medical Examination
- Interview – 75 marks
Training & Appointment –
- Selected candidates will undergo 18 months training in Forestry at a designated institute.
- During training, candidates will receive full salary and must sign a ₹6,00,000 bond committing to government service.
- Caution deposit of ₹6,000 is required.
