The Airports Authority of India (AAI), a Public Sector Enterprise, is inviting applications for its Apprenticeship Training Program in the Eastern Region.

Posts Available for Eastern Region –
- Graduate Apprentices – 42 posts
- Diploma Apprentices – 47 posts
- ITI Trade Apprentices – 46 posts
(Trades include: Computer Operator & Programming Assistant, Electrical, Mechanic, Electronics)
Training Locations –
Regional Headquarters (ER), Berhampur, Bagdogra, Bhubaneswar, Cooch Behar, Deoghar, Gaya, Jharsuguda, Patna, Pakyong, Port Blair, Raipur, Ranchi, Darbhanga
Duration of Apprenticeship –
12 months
Monthly Stipend –
- ₹15,000 – Graduate Apprentices
- ₹12,000 – Diploma Apprentices
- ₹9,000 – ITI Apprentices
Eligibility Criteria –
- Graduates with a full-time degree in engineering from an AICTE-recognized institute (2023 or later)
- Diploma holders with a full-time diploma in engineering (2023 or later)
- ITI certificate holders in specified trades from NCVT/SCVT recognized institutes
Eligibility Highlights –
- Applicants must be Indian citizens from the Eastern Region (West Bengal, Odisha, Bihar, Jharkhand, Chhattisgarh, Sikkim, Andaman & Nicobar).
- Maximum age required is 26 years as of 31 March 2025 (age relaxation applies as per government norms).
- Applicants should not have completed or currently be undergoing apprenticeship in any organization or in AAI with the same qualification.
Selection Process –
- Based on percentage of marks in qualifying exams.
- If scores are tied, age and year of passing will determine ranking.
- Shortlisted candidates will be called for document verification and medical assessment.
- Final selection is subject to satisfactory verification and medical fitness.
